Podiatry (Chiropody)
A visit to a podiatrist treats and can alleviate discomfort of many foot disorders. The foot is a complex structure, consisting of 26 bones, supported by a network of ligaments, muscles and tendons. Many foot problems can be prevented with correct footwear and regular care. Our feet too often, get neglected… until they start to hurt!
Bowen Technique
Bowen is a system of bodywork developed by Tom Bowen in the 1950s in Australia. Using a series of moves over soft tissue and muscles, the body becomes deeply relaxed, encouraging needful change. This may manifest in lowering of stress levels, releasing of tightness in muscles and fascia, reduction in pain levels or more fundamental physiological changes.
Allergies & Food Intolerances
A non-invasive way of discovering if a food or drink makes you unwell. Testing is diagnostic and not a treatment for allergies. We aim is to give you guidance in how to take back control of your life and body, either long term dietary changes or just for a few months.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a natural healing science based on applying pressure to minute reflex points on the feet and hands, thereby creating a stimulating effect throughout the whole body, enabling the body to heal itself. Following stress, injury or disease, the body is in a state of ‘imbalance’ and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body’s natural balance and encourage healing.
