About North Lakes Healthstore & Clinic
North Lakes Clinic first started in 1998 as a complementary therapy centre by Homeopath Deirdre Owen and was located on the 1st and 2nd floors. In 2003 it was taken over by Mandy Johnston the podiatrist working from the clinic, over the years North Lakes Clinic has supported over 40 different therapists, providing a safe friendly place of working.
After the devastating floods of 2009, a decision was made to streamline the business and take over the ground floor premises and open North Lakes Healthstore. It has taken a few years of gradual expansion to build the business, the shop is now popular with locals and visitors who often comment on our calm environment for shopping.
We stock a good variety of health foods & drinks, natural body care, household cleaning, vitamins & minerals, snacks, and foot care products.
We do not have an online shop, so please come in and have a look around. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please ask and we will try to order it for you.
The North Lakes Healthstore & Clinic Building
The building was Clementson plumbers in the 1950s. In the 1990’s it became the business for a few different estate agents, North Lakes Clinic was located on the upper 2 floors.
In 2010 North Lakes Healthstore and Clinic opened on the ground floor, and has a well stocked shop and a clinical room which is used for Podiatry, Bowen Therapy and Intolerance testing.
