  REFLEXOLOGY

It is a natural healing science based on applying pressure to minute reflex points on the feet and hands, thereby creating a stimulating effect throughout the whole body, enabling the body to heal itself. Following stress, injury or disease, the body is in a state of 'imbalance' and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body's natural balance and encourage healing.

The Egyptians used this science in 2500 BC Certain Indian & African tribes believed in the healing potential of the feet and today it is a very revived and beneficial therapy.

Reflexology induces deep relaxation and reduces physical and emotional stress, improves circulation, cleanses the body of toxins and impurities, revitalises energy, balances the whole system, helps with conditions such as stress, fatigue, back problems, eye, neck and other shoulder strains, hormonal imbalances, depression etc. to name a few, but the benefits of Reflexology are endless.

A Reflexologist uses hands only pressure to the feet, for each person the application and effect of the therapy is unique. Sensitive trained hands can detect tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet, and by working on these points the Reflexologist can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination are improved. This gentle therapy encourages the body to heal itself, often counteracting a lifetime of misuse.

Treatment sessions last from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
