What is Slimming and Weight Loss Coaching?
Slimming Coaching, with NLP, addresses the psychological aspects of losing weight.  It is a process of learning to live and eat like a naturally slim person.  It is the opposite of dieting.  Becoming slim, fit and healthy, permanently, is not about deprivation, severe self discipline, willpower, fanatical exercising or keeping your favourite foods out of your kitchen forever.  Slimming Coaching is about learning to feel good about who you are, knowing what you need, knowing that you deserve the best life has to offer and giving yourself all of those things. 

Coaching is not counselling or teaching.  Coaching involves guiding and motivating a person to set their own goals, find their own answers and explore what works for them as an individual to achieve those goals.  Slimming Coaching will help you to trust your body again so that you learn how to make the right food choices at the right time.  You will discover the difference between the thoughts and behaviours of naturally slim people and those who struggle to get or stay slim.  You will learn how to motivate yourself when things get tough and how to change any self-destructive behaviour patterns or negative self beliefs that you may have.  The result will be increased self esteem, a healthy relationship with food and a naturally emerging slimmer body.
What can the coaching treat?
Slimming coaching is ideal for anyone who feels they have a problem with excess body fat and overeating.  It is particularly useful for helping long term or yoyo dieters and those who have disordered eating habits or a difficult relationship with food.  It can also help to increase body confidence and self esteem. 
 
NB:  Slimming Coaching is not suitable for treating anorexia nervosa or bulimia, which are both potentially life threatening eating disorders.  If you are suffering from either of these illnesses, please contact your doctor or the National Centre for Eating Disorders, for further advice.

How many treatments will I need?
The initial course consists of six sessions spread over a period of approximately six months. The majority of clients find that six sessions are sufficient to achieve significant, positive and lasting changes to their eating habits and lifestyle. Some clients make very good progress during this time and then chgoose to continue with coaching for a few months longer.

Slimming and Weight Loss Coaching for children
Slimming coaching is not suitable for young children.  If you are concerned about your child's weight or eating habits, please visit your doctor for guidance.

What will it all cost?
The initial course of six sessions is £295.00. Further sessions are available at a cost of £45.00 per session. Continuation sessions are also pre-bookable in blocks of three at a cost of £120.00.
